hic summus & Friends festive concert

The first concert by inclusive choir Hic Summus was an evening of festive entertainment. The lineup, in order of appearance: Sirena Hart, Tom Stock, Aria Close, Josh Cameron and special guests Exaltation! Gospel Choir. All funds raised from this sold out event went to support the choir in 2024.

Billie Vasquez-Walters and Ricci Read run a successful ongoing poetry event in Colchester, taking place in the award winning Patch restaurant & event space that they simply call 'Poetry At Patch'. Always a full venue of 40-50 audience, 6 poets a show each with 15 min sets. They pay performers a fair split of whatever we make with our 'pay what you can afford' system.

Young Art Kommunity (YAK) is Firstsite’s young-people peer led group which organises events and activities within the gallery and in the wider community. Tom Stock was first invited to speak about his community work and digital zine S/ASH on 13/07/23. Since then he has collaborated with YAK serveral times in 2023, most recently to create the cover for the JOY issue of S/ASH on 30/11/23
Braintree's First Pride for Macmillan

Tom Stock was proud to organise Braintree's first ever Pride event at White Hart Hotel Braintree in 2021. Featuring many amazing local talents this special event raised an amazing £600 pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Big Fat Film Quiz for Children in Need
2017 to 2019- Quiz Master - Starbucks Cineworld Braintree
This monthly film quiz held inside Starbucks Cineworld Braintree raised hundreds of pounds for Children in Need during its run. Written and hosted by Tom Stock, The Big Fat Film Quiz had many diverse themes such a Disney, Queer, Spielberg, Horror and Oscar movies and saw teams compete to win genuine film posters. Currently Tom Stock co-hosts a monthly film quiz at Curzon Colchester.
LGBTQ+ Meet Up for Braintree Area

Supporting the local LGBTQ+ community in Braintree area since 2016, this private facebook group has over 200 members. Always offering friendship and a safe space to talk, Tom has organised countless events over the years such as coffee meets, karaoke, quizes, game nights as well as eating and drinking out. Their biggest achievement was being the first LGBTQ+ group to march in Braintree Carnival in 2017. Over the years, Tom Stock and other volunteers have continued to use the group for community events to help others feel less alone. #EVERYONEWELCOME

Arch1 Film Festival (now Arch1 Festival of Film) is a eclectic monthly film festival, film quiz and networking event in East London celebrating the next wave of film talent. Curated, produced and hosted by Tom Stock, the film festival is part of the programing for entertainment space Arch1. Arch1 is a unique intimate venue located under Manor Road with a community garden and bar that's one of East London's best kept secrets.
